Spectrometer Lease And Rental Facilities Introduced By LAT

Lambda Advanced Technology (LAT) Ltd has introduced lease and rental options for its comprehensive range of Hitachi atomic absorption, UV/Vis and fluorescence spectrophotometers. Instruments may be leased over a 3 or 5 year period. LAT Sales Director, Vince Phelan, explained: "We frequently find prospective customers who would be keen to purchase new equipment but have strict limitations on capital equipment budgets. In these cases, there are often other budgets available that are only available on a monthly draw-down basis. By introducing the leasing scheme, customers will now have the flexibility to purchase new equipment using these other budgets." Leasing arrangements can be made to include routine maintenance and/or service contracts so a single monthly fee will cover everything. At the end of the lease period, a decision can be made whether to purchase the instrument outright for a small fee, or to extend the lease and take a brand new instrument. The company also recognises that some customers may have short-term requirements for instruments, yet still need the latest equipment and see the rental option as the perfect solution. Vince Phelan continued: "We have had a lot of interest in rental arrangements for UV/Visible and fluorescence spectrophotometers. The minimum hire period is 1 month, but should a customer decide to make a purchase of the instrument within 6 months of the rental agreement, the rental payments made will be deducted from the purchase price of the instrument."

EX DEMONSTRATION AND SECOND USER SYSTEMS

From time to time we have ex demonstration and second user systems available for purchase. Ex-demonstration systems come with the full manufacturers 12 month warranty and are normally in as new condition. Second user systems from Hitachi become available from time to time. These units are refurbished and tested to their original specifications. Depending on the age and condition of the units they come with a warranty from three months up to twelve months. All units whether supplied new, ex demonstration or second user will be fully supported by LAT for their working life.
